Midlife & Meaning

A Processing Group for Women Ages 40 - 55

Wednesdays, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM | $65 per session

Midlife can bring a lot of change at once

Your kids may need you differently. Your relationships may be changing. You might be rethinking your career, questioning your faith, or realizing that roles that shaped your life for years don't fit quite the same way anymore.

And somewhere in the middle of all that change, you may find yourself wondering:

Who am I now — and what do I want next?

For many women, the years between 40 and 50 bring changes in identity, relationships, parenting, work, beliefs and priorities. Even positive changes can bring unexpected grief, uncertainty or a sense that you're trying to find your footing again.

This group offers women a supportive space to explore all the changes and challenges that can come with midlife.

Who is this group for?

This processing group is designed for women ages 40–55 who are experiencing changes in how they see themselves, their relationships or the life they want moving forward.

You don't need to be going through a major crisis to benefit from the group. Midlife can bring quieter changes, too — the realization that something that once worked no longer fits, that your priorities have shifted, or that you're ready to understand yourself outside of the roles you've held for years.

Topics We’ll Explore

Identity Shifts

Explore how your sense of self may change during midlife as familiar roles, priorities, and expectations evolve.

Career Transitions

Process changes in your career, goals, or priorities and consider what you want from this next stage of your working life.

Evolving Relationships

Navigate changes in marriage, friendships, family relationships, and parenting as your needs, roles, and connections shift over time.

Faith Transitions

Make space for questions and changes in faith, spirituality, beliefs, and values while exploring what feels meaningful and authentic to you now.

What to expect

In order to participate in this group, you will need to register by September 28, 2026. One of our therapists will reach out to you individually to complete an intake assessment and provide you with further details about the group.

A processing group is a therapist-led space to talk openly about what you’re experiencing and connect with others navigating similar changes. Conversations are shaped by what group members bring each week, with space to share, reflect, and gain new perspectives.

Your therapist will help guide the conversation and create a supportive, confidential environment where you can explore what midlife means for you.

Why group therapy?

There’s something powerful about being in a room with people who understand what you’re going through. Group therapy offers the chance to feel less alone, hear different perspectives, and recognize parts of your own experience in someone else’s story.

As you share, listen, and reflect together, you can gain new insight into yourself and find connection during a season of change.
