Alyssa Grossen, MSW Intern

Every individual is faced with problems throughout their life starting at a young age. By working with children at a young age to address mental, emotional, and behavioral needs their problems at home, school, and social relationships can be reduced. I am passionate about working with children and youth and their families. As a therapist I will enable children and adolescents with the skills to solve problems, learn how to balance their emotions, gain social skills and help them identify their strengths. Families aren’t perfect, they have their bumps in the road and they can’t always be resolved on their own. As a therapist working with families I will work to meet individual needs and the needs of the group as a whole to strengthen relationships, increase communication, and resolve any conflict. You don’t have to solve your problems on your own, support is available to you, your child, and/or your family as you need it and I hope to be that helping hand in your life.
