As an experienced play therapist, I am dedicated to working with children to help them overcome and resolve their problems by learning healthy coping skills, discovering new ways to improve behavior through the use of positive reinforcement and consequences, increasing self-esteem, and developing a hopeful life outlook. I believe that the family is the keystone to change for children and parental involvement is crucial to the growth and healing of a child. I also help parents learn healthy parenting skills and techniques so they can support their child’s progress and be actively involved in the therapeutic process. I am hopeful that through the therapy process that children and families can develop the tools to become healthy, happy, and whole.

I believe we all have the potential to live a life full of joy, meaning, and intimacy. I also know that sometimes challenges arise that prevent us from reaching our potential, leaving us feeling out of balance or just going through the motions. For over 6 years, I’ve helped adolescents, adults, couples and families reach their true potential and live more balanced, authentic lives. I have an open and relaxed style, and like to, with your help, tailor the therapeutic experience to your needs.

Life can sometimes bring unexpected twists and turns throwing us off balance. It can leave scars from a past trauma. You may find yourself being pulled in many different directions and taking on many different roles. My goal is to work with you to find the balance between work, personal lives, and relationships that will empower you to find a full life and lasting happiness. My philosophy is to use a strength based approach to help clients find the missing pieces to achieve a more balanced life and address the underlying emotions. With my help you can find the tools to grow individually and in tour relationships. I enjoy working with couples to enhance their relationship, and become a stronger unit. I work to empower teenage girls, and women of all ages to reach their goals, or explore reasons they may not be achieving their potential.

I am a highly optimistic individual who is easily approachable. I have a genuine love for people. I have an innate ability to not pass judgment on those I come into contact with. I am able to listen and truly empathize with others in their pains, their struggles, and their desires. I will do all I can to help and instill hope within all I work with, to help bring out their strengths, and to give each person tools that will help them improve their relationships as well as enhance their mental and emotional well-being.
